East downtown Chattanooga is experiencing a significant revitalization effort with the Mill Town Development. A mixed use effort with a variety of housing types surrounds a former abandoned textile mill. Two types of rental units including 3-story townhouses and 2-story detached single family residences were part of the initial development phase.
